Christmas Day
Students of the Primary School presented a
violin programme, and the Institute Brass Band followed with
a thrilling performance. Singing of carols then commenced.
At the end of the performances, Swami walked around and looked
at the splendid cakes that had been baked for the occasion.

Christmas Eve
In the evening, a children's choir and then
a choir of adults sing Christmas carols and songs of praise
for Bhagawan on this special Christmas eve. Swami blessed the
conductors of the two choirs with saris.

We see Swami entering the gymnasium, part of
the badminton match between India and Indonesia, a glimpse
of the Harlem Globetrotters game, and Swami with the players.

procession with Swami, the President of India, and the governors
of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh; the national anthem; speeches;
and a film. Members of the world class Greece and Switzerland
gymnastics teams perform, and there is a volleyball match between
the Sri Lankan and India teams.

a necklace for a young girl and then hands out saris to women.
We are treated to some beautiful dancing by young women groups
and exquisite singing by a group of two women. At teh end,
Swami accepts Arathi.

Morning festivities
The primary school band leads the procession
into Sai Kulwant Hall, while women students chant the Vedas.
We see a flag salute, with women wearing costumes of various
cultures. We are treated to a bagpipe presentation by primary
school students and singing by women from the United Kingdom.
Several talks by women follow. Morning festivities end with
bhajans, led by women, and Arathi.

Sathya Sai School of Canada, in Toronto, Canada. The school
was started in 2000. The play takes place in the future, about
2070, and revolves around an elderly lady who went to the school
as a child.

Be a star in God's Heaven
This drama was performed by the childlren of
Indonesia on 12 July 2006. The play depicted the story of
Dhruva, one of the enduring tales of God's love from the
Bhagatham, as told by a grandfather to his grandchildren.
Throughout, God demonstrates that there is no force greater
than the power of devotion. The play contained several enchanting
dances, by the girls.

Ashadi Ekadashi marks the beginning of the Chaturmasa.
On this day, people walk in huge processions to Pandharpur,
the abode of Lord Vitthal, chanting hymns, to have his darshan.

The Sai International Symphony Orchestra again
performs in Sai Kulwant Hall, with a stunning array of beautiful
classical works, with appropriate and helpful introductions
to each piece. The musicians come from 22 countries. They start

The first item in the evening concert was the trio (tihayee) of the sitar, the sarod, and the tabla. Kulkarni plays the sarod, Phadke the sitar, and Barodekar the tabla. At the end of this concert, Swami materializes a ring for Sri Kulkarni.

The audience was treated to Krishnamurthy singing while playing the harmonium, with Vinod Sehgal on the flute, Sri Shantanu on the tabla, and Sri Rajesh on the violin. After the perfromance, Swami materialized a chain for Krishnamurthy and a ring for Singhal.
