Hariharan sings
The evening of 24 July had devotees gathered in Kulwant Hall captivated by an awe-inspiring performance by Padmashree Hariharan of the "Colonial Cousins" fame. Hariharan, well trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music, has had great success in his fusion experiments. Though he started his career as a Ghazal singer, he found a grander following in fusion music with his album in 1996. Since then he is much sought after in the light music scene as well. |
