The closing session of the National Symposium on Value Orientation in Higher Education, beginning at 4:15 PM on 26 September 1987, in the Purnachandra. Vice Chancellors from various Institutions and educationists from all over India participated in the Symposium.

After chanting of Vedic verses by boys, the conference Chair introduces the two main speakers. At minute 12.35, Dr. Jagadish Narayan, Secretary, Association of Indian Universities, presents the recommendations of the Symposium. At minute 34.05, Dr. ECG Sudarshan, Director, MATSCIENCE, Madras, addresses the gathering.
