1987 Sep 27-28. Dasara, with Discourse

This afternoon program on 27 September 1987, which precedes Sathya Sai Baba's discourse, is in the Purnachandra.

After Sathya Sai Baba walks around a bit, boys do Vedic chanting. At 5:22 minutes, a priest gives a talk in an Indian Language. At 13:20, the Vice Chancellor introduces two students, who then speak, both third-year students: Sathya Venkatesh and Rahou KItee (spelling?).

This Dasara Discourse was given in the Purnachandra on 27 September 1987. In the Sathya Sai Speaks series, it is titled "The perennial quest". Here it is: pdf.

Starting about 7:30AM on the morning of 28 Sep. 1978, priests perform Vedic rituals in the Purnachandra. Sathya Sai Baba enters before 9AM. He spends some time walking among devotees, talking to them, taking letters, etc. He sits for a long while on His Chair.

The lighting is not too good at times, because of the relative darkness in the Purnachandra and the bright sunlight streaming in from the side doors. Nevertheless, we thought it useful to document this event.
