The convocation of the Sri Sathya Sai University takes place in Hlilview Stadium. We see the parade --a band, followed by Sathya Sai Baba, the Prime Minister, and others.

At minute 7:20, with everyone on stage, there is Vedic chanting. At minute 9:30, Vice Chancellor Sampth addresses the audience.

At about minute 25:15, the degree candidates are presented to Sathya Sai Baba, the Chancellor of the University, and they take their oath .At minute 27:50, Sathya Sai Baba awards medals.

At minute 35, the Chief Guest, Prime Minister of India Sri. P.V. Narasimha Rao, gives his address.. In his talk, he mentions the university as a very unique seat of learning and says that the government of India should study what they are doing.
